Update – 2025.09.18

Logging of Revisions / Changes to Weld Parameters

Due to numerous reports from clients about constant revisions/updates on ongoing projects, we have added automatic logging of changes made to weld parameters. Now, every weld not only has a history of welding and NDT releases but also a record of all project changes from the moment it was created in the application.
For logs of the ‘revision’ type, editing is not possible.

Logging of WPS Changes Assigned to a Weld

The application also now features automatic logging of changes to the WPS assigned to welds. This seamlessly addresses two requirements:

  • The WPS assigned to a weld is always up-to-date.
  • In the final documentation, we indicate which WPS was used to execute the weld. If a change is necessary (e.g., during repairs), the new/current WPS information will be displayed alongside this note.

For logs of the ‘change WPS’ type, editing them is not possible.

New Permission Types for Group Configuration

Due to the new log types (revision and WPS), the ability to configure access for viewing and deleting them has been added. Since these logs are always created automatically, editing and deleting them is not possible.

No Physical Deletion of Welds

Currently, in the application, clicking “DELETE” for a weld does not physically remove it from the database. Instead, the weld receives a “removed” status. From the moment this status is assigned, the weld and its accompanying information are no longer included in elements like final documentation or statistics, serving only an informational purpose.

New Weld Status - Removed

Due to the new functionality of changing the physical deletion of welds to assigning them a “removed” status, support for this case has been added to the application.
