The weldinGo team had the pleasure of participating in the prestigious 28th Meeting of the Coastal Welders (XXVIII Spotkanie Spawalników Wybrzeża), which took place on September 4, 2025, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology of the Gdańsk University of Technology under the banner “Development Directions and Innovations in Welding 2025”.
This annual symposium, being one of the most important industry events in Poland, provided an excellent platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and for tracking the latest global trends. Our team actively followed the event’s rich program, which was abundant with interesting lectures and presentations by leading manufacturers.
During the morning and afternoon sessions, we had the opportunity to delve into topics such as:
- Automation and robotization of welding processes (presentations by IBOT One, Yaskawa), including innovative processes that increase efficiency, such as HyperFill RA.
- Advanced joining and cutting techniques, including innovative solutions in plasma cutting, waterjet cutting (Hypertherm Associates), and hydrogen cutting technology (Hycut by Messer).
- Modern welding equipment and semi-automatic welders offering intuitive operation (Lorch, ESAB Warrior EDGE, INE welders).
- Innovations in welder work safety, including modern personal protection systems (Optrel) and safety measures for working with gases (WITT).
- Specialized quality control methods, such as ultrasonic testing of joints on curved surfaces or eddy current testing (ET).
Participating in the Symposium was an invaluable opportunity for the weldinGo team to have direct contact with global technology leaders such as Hyundai Welding, Siasun Robotic, Fronius, Lincoln Electric, and ESAB. The chance to get acquainted with the latest solutions “live” during equipment demonstrations and discussions with experts and practitioners was highly valuable.
The knowledge gained and the contacts established are a priceless source of inspiration and motivation for further development. This allows us not only to stay up-to-date with dynamically changing technology but, above all, to support our clients more effectively by offering them advice based on the most current knowledge and proven, innovative solutions available on the market.
Our presence at this event reinforces our belief that the directions we have chosen are right and confirms that weldinGo is a team that doesn’t follow trends but co-creates them, being right at the heart of the industry’s life.
