Change in the "Double Length" Functionality

Due to customer requests, we have modified the recently added functionality. Now, this parameter can be enabled for each individual test type, rather than for the entire inspection category. Additionally, the system no longer automatically calculates double weld length during logging but instead allows marking a test to indicate that the weld was inspected from both sides. This parameter is automatically marked if configured for the assigned inspection category, but it can also be unchecked manually. Configuring this parameter at the inspection category level ensures correct calculation of the total required inspection length for the component, while logging reflects the actual inspection performed.

Missing Inspection Categories

New NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods have been added to the application’s dictionaries, including: TOFD, UT-PA, ET, TT, AT, FT, HT, UTM, and RT-DR.

Data Grid Performance Optimization

We’ve introduced several improvements to enhance efficiency and usability:

  • Frozen weld number column – When scrolling horizontally, the weld number remains visible at all times.
  • Optimized header wrapping – Columns are now narrower, allowing for a broader view of the data.
  • Multi-weld search – You can now search for multiple welds by entering their numbers in the filter, separated by commas.

Multiple WPS Assignment to a Weld

At our customers’ request, we’ve added the ability to assign multiple WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) to a single weld.

Inspection Progress Information for Projects and Components

We’ve enhanced project and component views by adding:

  • Progress bars showing inspection completion status
  • Percentage indicators for each inspection type
This complements the existing construction progress display, giving you complete visibility of testing advancement.

Search Functionality Improvements

In the simplified application version, we’ve implemented several enhancements:

a) Multi-weld number search – You can now search for multiple welds by entering their numbers in the filter field, separated by commas

b) Replaced inspection category filter – We removed the inspection category filtering column and replaced it with a new column allowing searches by:

  • Missing test types
  • Test ranges

c) New inspection status column – Displays:

  • Green date – For passed inspections
  • Red date – For failed inspections
  • Black range – For missing inspections

d) Page size selector – Added at the bottom of the page to control the number of welds displayed per page

After logging, the system returns to the previous page while preserving all filter settings.

We’ve improved the workflow between views – now when switching from the weld search view to welding or inspection logging, all applied filter settings are preserved. After completing the logging process, the application automatically returns you to the previous view with your filters intact.
